Event Operations

What We Do

The Norris Event Operations students are vital members of the Event Management team. We are responsible for the setup and teardown of event equipment for all events in and around Norris, serving a wide range of clients in the building. Providing great customer service and support to the clients and their events is our top priority!

Student Testimonies

"I enjoyed working for Event Operations because it allowed me to meet fellow students while gaining valuable work experience. The convenience of working close to classes made balancing academics and work very doable."

“Event ops is definitely one of the best student jobs on campus. Everyone is super nice, and Aeon and Lindy are great and very responsive and communicative if anything is unclear. You will have to lift some chairs and tables and there will be some shifts where several events need to be set up or cleared, however, there is usually a decent amount of downtime between set-ups. This is great if you have work to do or just want to relax in Norris. I would highly recommend applying."

"Working at Norris was a great way to build my skills for future careers and meet people. Everyone in Event Ops is awesome and hardworking, with lots of different personalities and backgrounds, and setting up for events is fun and stress-free."
