Testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), such as chlamydia, gonorrhea and HIV, is available for students by appointment at University Health Services. To schedule an appointment, use the online  or call (847) 491-8100. Please ask NM SHS for more information about test types and costs based on your insurance plan.

Hormone Therapy

HRT prescription maintenance and beginning HRT prescriptions are available for students by appointment at University Health Services. To schedule an appointment, use the online  or call (847) 491-8100 and schedule an appointment with Dr. Abbott. Please ask NM SHS for more information about HRT types and costs based on your insurance plan.

Identity-Affirming Surgical Options

If you are considering surgery for your transition, you can meet with NM Student Health Services to get connected to the . Students can make appointments at 麻豆最新出品 Medicine Student Health Services. To schedule an appointment, use the online  or call (847) 491-8100 and schedule an appointment with Dr. Abbott. If you are considering any sort of surgery, be sure to inform the Student Assistance Support Services to explore setting up medical leave or emergency medical leave prior to any surgery.

HIV Care and Prevention

Evanston Library

Howard Brown Health provides free community HIV and STI screenings at our library. Services that are provided are HIV prevention counseling, rapid HIV screening (finger prick), and confidential syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia screening.

Every 4th Tuesday of the month | 3 pm – 7 pm | Community Meeting Room, Main (downtown) Library

No reservation required. First come, first served. For more screening sites and information, see

Clinical services, free HIV and Hepatitis C testing, HIV+ community, and education can be found at TPAN Chicago located at 5537 N. Broadway St Chicago, IL 60640 (Located near the Bryn Mawr Red Line Station).
