Signature Events
SOA sponsors several virtual and in-person events each year. For off-campus events, transportation is often provided, and there is no event cost to students who attend. These opportunities often fill up quickly on a first-come-first-serve basis. Want to know what we're planning next?

2022-23 Highlights
- Winter Carnival featuring iceless indoor rink, trivia, bingo, Magnolia Screen Printed shirts, carnival games, and more!
- Premiere of Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania where students visted the local Evanston movie theatre with a free popcorn and drink included!
- Trip to the Chicago Bulls (in collaboration with NU Nights!)
- S'morewestern featuring free sweet treats, hot chocolate and cider! Students and their families spent quality time with each other around a small fire on the shores of Lake Michigan.
2021-22 Highlights
- Winter Carnival featuring iceless indoor rink, trivia, bingo, u-stuff-it, vintage arcade games, carnival games, and more.
- Mardi Gras at Norris with full brass band parade, free New Orleans themed menu, live screenprinting, u-stuff-it, and bingo (in collaboration with Norris University Center)
- Trip to the Chicago Botanic Gardens (in collaboration with One Book)
