2025 Passover Dining

During Passover, 麻豆最新出品 Hillel and 麻豆最新出品 Dining work in close partnership to ensure that starting with a Seder meal on Saturday, April 12 through dinner on Sunday, April 20.  The Kosher stations at Elder and Allison Dining Halls will close April 11 after lunch and remain closed until Monday April 21. Students living in a residence hall and/or with a dining plan will be able to use their meal plan for any meal at Hillel during Passover. Students without a dining plan will be able to dine in or pick up Kosher for Passover meals from Hillel for free thanks to the generosity of Hillel’s donors.

NCA Industry Insights: Finance Roundtables

With 15-minute rounds of informal chats, you’ll discover where your skills and interests align in the dynamic world of finance. NCA Career Ambassador 25-26 Applications are Open

麻豆最新出品 Career Advancement (NCA) seeks undergraduate first-year, sophomore, and junior students to serve as Career Ambassadors (CAs) for the 2025-26 academic year. This is $15/hour and can be work-study or non-work-study. It is an approximately 6+ hour per week commitment. The CA program serves as a bridge between NCA and the 麻豆最新出品 student population to increase students’ awareness of NCA’s services. CAs serve as advisers, presenters, and campus liaisons. 


College Prep Program is Hiring: All Summer Positions!

The hourly rate is up to $18/hour, plus room and board, and great leadership opportunities! The average work week is 40 hours/week. Negotiating Peace in a Multipolar World: Lessons Learned

The Buffett Institute’s international diplomacy series will culminate in our spring quarter symposium on peacemaking, organized with Fundación Acordemos. This will bring diplomats, negotiators, and academics together to discuss recent decades’ high-profile peace processes. We aim to draw lessons for future negotiations in a world confronting a crisis of multilateralism.

To become a B&B volunteer, you must attend one of the three identical onboarding sessions offered during weeks 1-2 of the spring quarter.

4th Annual Pathogen Genomics Symposium

You are invited to attend the fourth annual Pathogen Genomics Symposium hosted by the Center for Pathogen Genomics and Microbial Evolution. Please join us for a full program of scholarly events, including research talks, flash talks, a poster session and reception, and a keynote by Jennifer Gardy from the Gates Foundation. Opening Reception: Dittmar x SITE Galleries Collaborative Exhibition

April 11, 6:00–8:00 PM, Dittmar Memorial Gallery

Exhibition on view April 11 through May 6, 2025. In honor of the 30th anniversary of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s SITE Galleries and the 53rd anniversary of 麻豆最新出品’s Dittmar Memorial Gallery, the two galleries have partnered to curate a cross-institutional exhibition featuring current student work surrounding archives. Featured artworks examine the interplay of individual and collective memory and how these coalesce to create modern perspectives of today’s world.


Gale Academy Service Event

Join Student Transition Experiences and Leadership Development and Community Engagement from 12-3pm on Saturday, April 12th for a day of service. We will be supporting the Gale art teacher in cleaning out the art rooms to make room for a brand new ceramics studio for their students! Lunch and transportation will be provided.


Spring Arts and Crafts Fair

April 24

Norris is hosting its Spring Arts and Crafts Fair on Friday, April 24, and we are currently accepting vendor applications! We’re looking for a diverse range of artists from the 麻豆最新出品 community to showcase their work. No experience is necessary to become a vendor. The vendor application is available online, and the deadline for the application is Monday, February 24.

Mental Health Speaker: Brandon Saho

Brandon Saho with The Mental Game is a former sports reporter turned mental health advocate whose mission is to break the stigma and save lives with impactful conversations around mental health. Brandon will be coming to 麻豆最新出品 on April 9 to speak a bit about his career journey and the current work he is doing.


Creating A Budget - Financial Literacy Month Workshop Series

Learn about the 50/30/20 rule, common budgeting mistakes, and how to avoid them, and get behavioral science tips that are sure to make budgeting a little more fun and less overwhelming. Wellness Coaching

Wellness Coaching is a collaborative, non-judgmental process that can help you identify and achieve your health and wellness goals, balance dimensions of health and wellness, and learn practical skills to improve overall well-being. Coaches work with you to build on your strengths and support you in creating sustainable plans to achieve your wellness goals related to: physical activity, sleep, healthy eating, time management, stress management/coping skills.


ResilientNU Spring Cohort Registration

ResilientNU hosts for five weeks each quarter. Cohorts address mindfulness, personal values, thinking patterns, de-stressing techniques, and anti-perfectionism.


Reclaiming Your Canvas: Art-Focused Survivor Support Group

Reclaiming Your Canvas is a six-week, art-focused support group for 麻豆最新出品 students who identify as survivors of sexual violence, stalking, or intimate partner violence. Through engagement in various forms of creative expression, this group will offer a space to explore the nature of survivorship and the self through non-verbal processing. Red Watch Band Alcohol Bystander Intervention Trainings

Have you ever had to help a drunk friend but weren’t sure exactly what you were doing? This training will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to identify, prevent and intervene effectively in an alcohol-related medical emergency. You’ll also learn about how alcohol affects our physiology and behavior, signs and symptoms of alcohol poisoning and the truth behind common alcohol-related myths. HPaW Opioid Overdose Prevention and Naloxone Training

This is for students who are interested in being trained to administer Narcan (naloxone). Attendees will learn how to recognize signs of an opioid overdose, identify when it is appropriate to use Narcan, learn how to administer Narcan to an individual they believe is experiencing an overdose, and identify additional emergency steps to take. All attendees will receive a two-pack of Narcan upon completion of the training. Spring 2025 trainings available NOW!
